Northern metal music, from the 1980s to today
The exhibition is a tribute to northern metal bands, such as Riff Raff, Faff- Bey, Sentenced, Hebosagil and Bonehunter. These bands took the scene’s extremity to a brand-new level. For those who are here now and who were here then.
HELP US COLLECT MATERIAL
We are looking for items, pictures and memories connected to metal culture in Northern Ostrobothnia. We want to present the stories and items of metal culture in the exhibition, and we need your help. We accept both loans and donations.
What are we looking for?
- Pictures: from gigs, practice spaces, bars or get-togethers.
- Clothes: band shirts, modded denim vests or other themed clothing.
- Instruments or demos: cassette trading materials, practice tapes, demo cassettes or stories about such.
- Memories: memories of legendary places, such as venues or rock bars – events and atmospheres.
- Interviews: if you want to share your experiences in the form of an interview, we will gladly meet with you.
